Frequently asked questions

What does DMA Capitals Solutions provide?+

We provide software development and related technical services. These include bespoke software, web applications, business portals, system integrations, software modernisation, testing and contracted support.

Do you sell hardware or general office supplies?+

Our stated service is software development and closely related technical work. Any requirement outside that scope would need to be separately reviewed and expressly documented; it should not be assumed to form part of our normal service.

How does the company make money?+

Clients pay us for agreed software-development work and technical services. Depending on the engagement, we charge a fixed project fee, milestone fees, time-based rates, a recurring support fee or an agreed recurring software-service charge. The exact basis is stated before chargeable work begins.

Do you work with clients outside the UK?+

Yes, we can work remotely with business clients in international markets, subject to project suitability, contracting, payment, legal and data requirements.

Can you provide a fixed price?+

A fixed price may be available where the requirements, deliverables, assumptions and acceptance criteria can be defined with sufficient clarity. Uncertain or complex projects may first require paid discovery or may be delivered on time-based rates.

Do you require an initial payment?+

An initial payment may be required before work begins. The amount and payment schedule depend on the project and are stated in the proposal or agreement.

Can you take over an existing software system?+

Possibly. We first need to assess the available code, documentation, infrastructure, licences, known issues and access rights. This assessment may be chargeable and does not guarantee that taking over the system will be practical.

Who owns the software and source code?+

Ownership and licensing are set out in the project contract. The terms distinguish custom deliverables from pre-existing tools, reusable components, open-source software and third-party materials.

Do you provide hosting?+

Hosting responsibilities are agreed for each project. We may support deployment to a client-controlled environment or arrange defined hosting-related services. Cloud-provider, domain, licence and usage charges are identified separately where applicable.

Is ongoing support included?+

Only if the proposal or agreement says so. Continuing support may be purchased through a recurring plan, prepaid time or separately approved work.

Do you guarantee that software will never fail?+

No software supplier can reasonably guarantee that software will be free from every defect or interruption. We test against the agreed scope and address obligations according to the applicable contract. Availability commitments apply only where expressly documented.

How do you handle confidential information?+

We limit access to information reasonably required for the work and can use project-specific confidentiality terms. Clients should not send credentials, sensitive personal data or production datasets through an initial enquiry unless a secure method has been agreed.

How can I request a proposal?+

Email info@dmacapitalsuk.com with your organisation's name, project objective, required features, expected users, relevant systems and preferred timeframe. We will review the enquiry and advise on the next suitable step.
